Do your chickens make specific noises when they eat?

my chickens make this kissy noise when they find something good. they do it quickly, everytime they peck, they scarf it down so another chicken can't get it. I think it is the cutest thing!

You mean like "bit bit bit bit bit" real fast? That's what mine do. They also dive into their layer mash and scarf it down so fast that the stuff goes up their nostrils, and then they have to sneeze, and it sounds like a gazoo honk!

I love the sounds they make.

When we have leftover meat, my chickens freak over it.They'll be running around the yard growling like a dog.

Both the hens and the roosters make a noise at times while eating that sounds like a prissy little girl sneezing.
It's really weird.

Hi Lunachick, I don't give them a lot. Our begging dogs usually get the most it from the table.

I don't know if it's bad for them.
