I took my carton of eggs out of the fridge for making breakfast and after awhile a few of them had turned all dark on top. I separated them and put them back in the fridge and then they went back to the usual color. Is that normal?

That isn't particularly color change, but simply the egg getting wet, then drying up. Have you ever gotten a dry egg before, washed it, and noticed it was darker? It happens with normal brown eggs, as the blumen will go translucent when wet, then turn a pale whitish color again. Completely normal.

They weren't wet though, just sitting in the carton on the counter. I did wonder if they froze in my fridge and were thawing and that's why the color change.
