Doctor Who season 4 finale.........It was great!!!

CBC isn't even going to START broadcasting season 4 here in Canada until the fall, can you believe it! Said it would have interfered with hockey playoffs and then the olympics. Hmph. I am not a patient person

I did catch three episodes when visiting my folks in PA last month but that just makes it worse to have to wait.

I am continually amazed to be able to say this but I honestly think that the current series is actually a considerable improvement on the old one (and btw, Jon Pertwee was the best, although nothing against Tom Baker either

) -- it is EVER so much more cleverly written, with a smaller number of dumb 'filler' episodes and more really excellent ones. "Blink" was the absolute scariest thing I've ever seen on tv, and they achieved it without any gore whatsoever. And the special effects are still pretty cheesy, just as they ought to be

no 2009 season What will I do

I thought I had heard a rumor that David Tennant would be staying until mid 2009. Humm....Im hope they have more next year!!!

For the US...it comes in on the sci-fi channel....for the tv-less peeps like us, I watch them online. I get the dvds when they come out too hehe.
