I'll post updated pictures every few weeks and keep this thread updated in general. These are my "first" chickens on my own farm, but I grew up on a farm as well so I'm not new to chickens. I am starting with my Meyer hatchery order (hatched on 04OCT2021) although chicken math is already starting to set in and I'm itching to add some more Faverolles and find some Dorkings.

I love them all! They are so handsome and beautiful! I especially love Sigrid and Fergus, perfect names in my book! (I'm of nordic origins :p)
The blue laced wyandotte is actually a blue laced red. :) A wyandotte with just plain blue coloring is a Blue Wyandotte.

Can't wait for more pictures as they grow older and feather in! That's my favorite part of raising chicks!

Thank you for the correction! I knew she was blue Laced something, but I couldn't remember what the actual name was. My mothers side is Nordic/Bavarian and my father is from very old Celtic lines so I wanted to include some ancestral origin names:)

You are welcome! Yeah, there are a lot of variations when it comes to chicken breeds, almost too many. Nice, family lines are so interesting! Good thinking!
I have an Astrid! May I show you a picture on here?
