I have an LG still air bator w/turner. I was wanting to add a pc fan to it using a 9Volt adapter...didn't have 12Volt. I had a hard time towards the end of my last hatch, keeping the humidity up high enough. Do I have to worry about my humidity being lower or higher once I add the fan? Also would I keep temp at 99.5 or closer to 101? I know I'm probably going to get many different answers, but I don't know what to do. Also I read on here to put the fan in the middle of the 'lid' and have it blow upwards, not down on the eggs. I am getting the fan tmr...is there a switch or something to make it blow different directions? wont the chicks get hurt in the fan or is it protected with screen? Sorry about all the questions, I can't seem to find the answers to some. Thanks so much!

the fan will homogenize your temp and hum%.. It will not add either..

to raise your hum% you will have to increase the evaporating surface of the water ..

to raise the temp, you will have to tinker with the thermostat..

I could walk you through initial set-up of a LG, but I have tried this on this site before and got sooo much flak that I will never do that again.

You can PM me if you are interested and I will help you only that way.. in private..

I have taught a couple professional breeders my way and they still remind me and thank me....

suit yourself..
