does any one have any incubating tips

hi iam starting my incubator today and im going to try and hatch 5 chicken eggs this is my first time and im trying to learn all i can the incubator i have is a still air and i would love some tips thanks

Also make sure your thermometer and hygrometer are giving you a correct reading. A seperate one to the incubator is always a good thing.

Try not to candle too much, especially after day 18. At hatching remember the first time they poke a hole, they are not ready to hatch, they usually rest for 12 hrs. but do know most eggs that do pip, will hatch on their own.
