OK I have the 2 story brooder, the shelf in the middle is REMOVABLE... So, when the chicks get bigger, I will take out the shelf and add a 2ftx1ft shelf in the middle, for them to fly up to and play on.

I'll also make a ladder going up. It's like a playland

I think I paid about $175 for this whole set-up. You just have to be in the right place at the right time.
