Does anybody eat their Japanese bantams?

We have eaten bantams in the past, usually dumpling where we didn't put much chicken in it.

These now a days are butchered along with others and are all pressure cooked then canned in the broth. Makes quick meals if your in a hurry, chiken salad sandwiches, or some kind of casserole.

My mom does that too. I only let her have a rooster unless she really really really wants a hen. Silkies taste just like any other bird.

It's funny to see my mom tell the young silkie roos that if they are not good, they will be for soup... which is true. LOL
