@txplowgirl Thanks for asking about Livestock Conservancy - I've been thing about joining too. Their headquarters is only a few miles from where I live but they don't seem to put on any public events.

What research do they do? I have not seen anything in peer reviewed publications. What I do see is marketing, and most of the research is based on antiquated (pre-1950) ideas. There has been much research on production, etc., but it is ignored by the Livestock Conservancy.
