Does anyone else have leghorns?

I am new to raising chickens and I have started with 2 rock game hens, 2 rhoad island reds, and 2 white leghorns. Son, I say son I love those leghorns...lol. they are FAST!! And funny to watch. They puff up their feathers and run at each other. Yes, they play chicken...lol but its just play. I had one get stuck in my pond the other day after she tried to fly over it. Luckily I had the water level very low. She just sat there and waited for me to get her out. She wasn't so flighty then! :)

I purchased two this past Saturday.
Brown Leghorns. Very Flighty.
They lay a medium-large egg. Not the biggest of eggs that I've seen from Leghorns.
They are going to go into my EE pen to help egg production.

Yup, they love to get into everything! Mine runs from one hen to the other just to see what they're doing!

You're not the only Leghorn owner. :)

We hatched WLs for a homeschool project and that's how we got started with chickens. Ended up with four roosters and one pullet. I still have my one WL pullet, but the roosters have all been rehomed. I also have one next generation, a WL and EE mix chick who lays a blue egg just about every day.

Almost forgot I also have a third generation that is a WL EE mixed with Silky chick. That little one is just 2 weeks old so still don't know sex or egg color.
