They can definitely be loud and annoying.My two females seem a lot more dumb than my two boys. One of the girls tried to run away once and got lost in the woods behind my house. Both the boys went after her, rounded her up, and brought her back to the coop.
The boys are just very loud. Every time my dog goes outside they go nuts and won't shut up. Very annoying.
That's interesting.I suppose it all depends on genetics. I found a good breeder who raised guineas for temperament and flock guardians(he made sure the guineas where never inbred and always added in new blood) but ones that I got from the feed store (they get them from a hatchery) tended to be real stupid.
