Does anyone else have this problem?!

Is it normal for my ducks to make triple stacks?

Whenever I hav more than one drake it seems that they cant help but BOTH mount the same female.

It will be a female on the bottom , then one drake will mount her and the other drake will mount the first drake.

I caught My old geezer and M new drake Mounting one of my 6 month olds.

Cant say ive had this probelm before but maybe tehy are just exited, is it there first time with a female and are they young?

the One is 10 years old and this is not the first time he has done this, ive had him for two years , he was one of my first rescues . The other drake I just recently got and the lady said he had been breeding with her runners. I mean heck there are 7 sexually mature females in the flock and only two sexually mature males. I have four youngsters taht have to cover their eyes

I just find it really funny when i walk outside and see them in the extra large kiddy pool making their "tower" I kinda feel bad for the girl stuck on botttom but the pool is deep/ shallow enought that it shouldnt hurt her and she wont drown.

I saw a chicken sandwich going on yesterday.
John the duck was mounting one of his regular chickens and another chicken was on top of John.
The second chicken was actually pecking at John, trying to make him let go.

The males all get excited and try to join in.

If you had to 'propagate the genes' and so forth, you'd understand too!

I wouldnt mind it so much if they did the job with My ONE stink girl who is still laying. She is the onlyone pulling her weight around here.

Yes, but mine is one drake on top of two females! He usually falls off!

Ive never had that! i mean ive had girls mounting girls but the boys never join in, they prefer to watch. Pervs.

Yeah, ducks are awfully disgusting if you think about it!

Drinking toilet water (dirty pool)

Dumping dirt and sand into their water

Pooping all down your shirt if you hold them too long

SCRATCHING YOU WITH RAZOR CLAWS!

Walking in their poop then on their eggs (which they layed OUTSIDE the nest box, of course)

And watching others... erm... 'go at it'




But I love 'em.
