Does anyone else make up names for your chickens?

Well, all eleven of my birds each have a name, and some have several nicknames. We call our pair of red bantams "The Reds" sometimes, too. As a group though, I tend to call them my little birdies.

So do I! I call this one hen in particular Miss Freeloader (hasn't laid an egg in a year & doesn't even try anymore). Mine all have names (except 2 new white silkie pullets I cannot tell apart), but I also call them "girlies," or "Ladies," or "My girls" (includes adjectives - my dirty girls, my special girls, my big girls, my naughty girls, my hungry girls and so on). My roosters have names, but I sometimes just call them by a general nickname: "Roostie-Roo." I sometimes lovingly address the flock as "my little dummies." They don't seem to mind.

Sometimes we call our chickens "ducks" and "pita bread." Don't ask why
