Well I got two Sumatra hens. If they don't kill each other between now and when they are ready to be outside, I was wanting to let them join my current flock. But they are all free ranged in my back yard. They are also not bantams.
Will the sumatras fly away even with clipped wings? Should I just build a small covered space for them?
I might not keep them if they don't stop fighting the way the do. The smaller of the two is the bully. Pushing the other off the food with her body and grabbing and pulling neck feathers from the larger one. I just don't have time or space to deal with that behavior. It's ironic because they were separated because they were the ones being bullied. Now bullying each other.
