Mine usually get to free range at least half a day, so I was concerned about them being "cooped up" in the run for a week. BTW, I have 13 hens and one roo.
Edited to add: I think I like the pecker recker better. It has a hanger, has calcium AND grit. It IS smaller than the flock block, though. It also wasn't as expensive.
