Thank you I hope so! <3 shes my baby.
She has started to accept "Turkey Burger" a young turkey I rescued from the yard. She had a broken leg and the others viciously attacked her. Her back was tore up so badly I could see her flesh,so I thats how she got her name. Tjey pulled all the feathers off her head too and it makes her look like a vulture lol!!
Im sorry for so many pics in a thread that us not my own. I have a problem with sharing too much :/
But the Turkey Burger is healing so well.

Not sure if I will breed them. I have a Roo with them but I may part ways with him and just add the girls to a hen only pen. I have Ameracaunas also and love them.

Hahah thank you! I hadnt planned on keeping Turkey Burger. Told the rancher I would return her to the flock..but she is bonding with me. Which is crazy because they are such mean birds lol! The ones on the ranch here are.
I have set her down outside and she doesnt even try to leave the porch.
And I leave her cage open sometimes or put her in top of one so she diesnt feel trapped. She doesn't seem to want to get away all that much .
