Does anyone have Buff Laced or Violet Laced Wyandottes?

I think I may have told you before about how to make the violet laced in largefowl. Take a SLW roo and mate him to splash laced red hens and you should get all blue laced silver offspring, the males will have some red showing here and there but the females should be good. Then just mate those birds back to silver laced and there you have it.

oooooooo ok and where do i find a splashed laced red hen??? from you i hope?

Check out the Brown Porcelin Wyandotte. They are very pretty also, but good luck finding them or eggs. I have posted...to no one has any:(. They are found mostly in Germany. But I did find one person that had some imported, but of course they were not willing to part with any of there beautiful birds...not that I could blame them:). Some day I will have 1..

Lol, I dont have any splash laced red birds. Check eggbid maybe. I know McMurray sells both SL and BLR wyandottes so if you get some from them you could do it. The only downside is that they will be hatchery birds. If you check the APA yearbooks or the Poultry Press you should be able to find some good breeders.

erijn5 you could make some, its basically the speckled sussex pattern with yellow legs and a rose comb.
