Does anyone have experience donating eggs to a soup kitchen?

We have, many times, donated eggs to local food shelves. We've warned them that they are not candled (we don't check for fertilization.) We only donate fresh, clean, uncracked eggs. We haven't had any problems. You can also save your eggs almost for a year, depending on the methods of preserving.

Curious if you ever ended up doing this or if you got any feedback on this. We have more eggs than we can eat and rather than give them to friends and family who can afford their groceries I would love to give them to someone struggling.

I have had luck with a local church pantry.They also take my excess duck eggs.Some people like them for baking.Check rules though.Some places permit some don't.Good luck in your charity hunting.
