Does anyone have late day layers?

Today was unusual 24 laid early in the day usually latest egg laid 430 in the evening anyone else have late day layers usually?

I don’t have birds anymore but yes, I used to have several late day layers. Actually, most or all of them were afternoon or late day layers. Annoying when I wanted fresh laid eggs for breakfast.

Maybe 10% of my hens lay in the evening. It's normal. I would imagine that the evolutionary function is less traffic jams

The egg cycle is about 26 hours. Chickens will cycle through morning to mid day to late day back around to morning. Perfectly normal.

All of my birds lay in the afternoon/evening. Never in the morning.

Half do morning half do evening for me. I’m still newish is why I ask. Thanks
