I'm planning for next springs hatch, and I really want to have some SS. I would prefer to not have hatchery stock cause I can get live chicks if i wanted to. I want better quaility, but im guessing breeder or prospect show would be too expensive or hard to find. I'm a cheapo, so I'm only willing to pay up to 25 dollars for a dozen shipped. The more eggs, the better though

. I'm really not as picky as this sounds (

), I just want to be clear. And for refernce I live in Texas. Any pictures would be nice as well.
Thanks for any help.

I have ss as well, but they are not quite laying yet, although I am expecting them to start any week now. Also, atm they are just free ranged with all the other birds, and I dont have them cooped in the breed cage yet. I will have some but it may be a few weeks yet before I could be sure the eggs are good and pure.

Katy if you will have some sometime this next month or so i'll even do that.
Thanks for everyones replies!
