Does anyone have standard Cochins?

If there are any standard Cochin owners online, I am wondering if you could go look at your hens feet compared to your roo's and let me know back if your hens have a fairly naked middle toe (Or 'bird' finger) and if your roo's have a furry middle toe?

I have looked around online trying to research if anyone has sexed furry legged breeds this way and have not been able to find anything but have this theory that possibly the females don't get that really feathered out middle toe but the boys do. My one Buff Brahma has a fairly naked middle toe and I know she is a girl since she lays but on my Cochin chicks, I still need to find out.

I have 6 little Cochin babies 4 weeks old, all different colors and all have some feathing, not much but some on their middle toes. Hope this helps. I don't have any boys that I know of.
Ps. I dont know if it plays a role but MY black and barred Cochins have more than the red or partridge colors?

CANT TELL FROM FEATHERING ON BABY COCHIN FEET--- ALL DOWN OR FEATHERS WILL BE LOST AND A FEW WEEKS LATER THEY WILL MOLT NEW

AS FAR AS SEX BY FEATHERS BOTH MY HENS AND ROO HAVE FEATHERS OVER THE MIDDLE AND OUTSIDE TOES.(WHEN YOU DIG FAR ENOUGH TO SEE THEM--- THE FEATHERS BUSH OUT OVER TOP OF THEIR FEET SO THICKLY YOU HAVE TO ACTUALLY HANDLE THE BIRD)

Well, this is what I saw, some of my chicks had fur right down to the toenail on the middle toe and others were as you are describing, some fur on the middle toe but not much and certainly not all the way down to the nail. I will have to try this on my next set of straight run and see if the ones I suspect are roosters turn into roosters. This set, all my furry toes sold except one and this is one I am suspecting is male. We will see in the next couple months.
