I have a hovabator with a fan. But I'm slowly finding out that I still have temperature variations to the tune of about 3 degrees difference in different places in the bator. If I set it at 100 in one place, it is about 103 on the other side and about 101 in the middle. I don't know how to regulate things any differently. And I think this temp difference is ruining my hatches. Any ideas? Anyone?

Rotate your eggs during the hatch??

I think you will have temp variations in any incubator, but those ranges are pretty wide...

I could rotate, but what do I aim at for a temp in the middle. That 103 scares me. Will that side of the bator, bake my babies and kill the embryos? Do I just need to leave that side with no eggs?

That doesn't sound normal for a hovabator. You might want to contact the company and see what they suggest. Are the thermometers that you are using all digital? It could be that they are faulty. If they aren't digital, I'd definitely contact the company.
