Does anyone here draw Chickens?

I just started and my first one turned out really good

What a coincedence! I just drew a rooster that I'm cutting out and transfering to plywood. I then cut it out and paint it either as a black silhouette, or with a few colors. Then I plan to attach it to my chicken run as an ornament.

That's really nice! I love the way you did the feathers!

I like drawing chickens with an italic nib. It seems easier for some reason.

I did a whole watercolor series for my final. Some were abstract, while others were more realistic

These are just 2 or the 9 I did. they were all done on 11x14 cold press paper.

Oh You guys are really good! I'm just starting. I tried to draw Pretty Boy today(The Tan one in my Avatar) But it's really really hard. The Silkie was somewhat easy.

Try and get a picture of the chicken and then practice from that. Once you get the basic chicken shapes down, the rest will follow.

I seem to be having a problem with the long tails. I'm not good at the feet either lol
