Does anyone here have Cackling geese?

So I am interested in getting some Cackling geese this spring (and Sebbies!). I have contacted a private breeder so far so fingers crossed some may be available

My question is...I can not find much info on them anywhere. Does anyone on here have any or know anything about them? Would all that applies to Canadians be the same for Cacklings other than their size?

If anyone has them I would love to see pics!!!

Yes the basics about canadian geese apply to caklers.

We also raise Richardson and Aleutian geese which are close in size to Cacklers.

WOW!!! You have such gorgeous geese! I see you also have barheads and barnacle. I like those two a lot as well. What do you think of them in comparison? I want a few geese that are at least a little bit friendly but also a bit off the beaten path!

Do you need a permit to just own a Canada goose, or only if you're going to breed and sell them?
