Here's some pic's of my 6-month old hens (according to the lady I got them from, they're 8 months, but I know there's no way...).
Do ya think I can expect any eggs any time soon? Do any of them at least look like it? (We've got nice, red combs and wattles, but no "squat" as of yet)

Well it's tough to see eggbound-ness like that
My guess would be that they are adjusting to their new home and are taking a break

their combs still look a little light, but that could be the photos from the sun.

to see the swollen bottoms, we'll need a pic of the hind quarters.

they look pretty active. many times, when a chicken is egg bound, they will walk really weird, almost like slow motion and they pick their legs up laboriously.

egg binding usually (not always) happens after they have started laying.

maybe some more opinions and ideas will pop up.

They all look fine and not egg bound. Time will work wonders. They are probably not laying because the days are so short and daylength affects laying. As the days start getting longer they will start laying. Be patient. And make sure they are not hiding their eggs somewhere if you are letting them out to roam.

Why is the date on the pics 1999?

Uhhhh, about the date in the pic's, it's because I can't seem to figure out how to change it (I got the camera from a relative, and he never figured it out, either...). I don't think the girls are hiding eggs, because I follow them around like a puppy, whenever I do let them roam in the yard, just to make sure they're okay. Can't tell you how many times a day I leave everything, just to run out and check on them (officially, I'm "checking the mail", "taking the trash out", "taking stuff to the compost", etc...). Well, I guess I'll just have to bide my time and be patient, until the little buggers finally start laying.

Sorry, I'm a idiot! I totally misunderstood the term "eggbound", because I thought it meant "about to lay". I just found out, that it means having a stuck egg, which can't come out. Oh well, live and learn, in Chicken World...

I completely agree with gardeninggranny...not all hens lay this time of year or at least they cut way back. Depends on the breed.
I see you have some breeds that should be laying. Be patient.

I think the BR is ready to go anytime soon, however be real patient with the SLW it took for ever for mine to lay and when they did they skip a lot of days, so finelly I got red of all of my 3 SLW.
