Does anyone know how to get hens to lay more eggs?

On September 16th we had our 1st 3 eggs!!! But we have 10 other hens that haven't layed eggs yet, does anyone know when they might lay???

As long as they are heallthy it depends on age and breed.

They are 3 months and 29 days old.

What breed are they? They are still pretty young it seems.

They are all different breeds.

We have 2 rainbow layers, 2 sapphire gems, 2 midnight majestic, 6 Easter Eggers, and 2 Rhode island reds.

Mine are also at 20 weeks old a few started laying i still have half not laying. I believe the age range is 17- 28 weeks

My Sapphire was my first to lay she had huge red comb and waddles then my RIR I am still waiting for my Maran and Ameraucana

Ours were supposed to start laying on September 21st but a few started laying eggs early. Plus our first egg was a double yolk!!!
