Mixed breed, mixed enough no particular breed stands out. If she lays colored eggs, call her an Easter egger. If she lays brown eggs, call her a Barnyard Mix.

What about this breed? They said she was an Ameraucana.

Nope, she's a brown Leghorn hen. Should be a great layer of large white eggs, but she looks pretty mature so I'm not sure how much laying she's got left.

LOL! Ameraucana! That's too funny. She's a Brown Leghorn. She has absolutely no Ameraucana features at all. Easter Egger chicks, however, do frequently look similar to Brown Leghorns as chicks.

I got her as a baby in Feb of this year. She looks mature, but she's not.

some pullets are very sensitive about that donrae. My mom pitched a fit every time a store employee wanted to give her a senior discount. She was furious that they thought she was "that"old. Of course she WAS that old. I love getting senior discounts and I am old.
