Does anyone know what breed this bird is?

At least a couple do indeed appear to have small tassel crests. The legbars, do too, don't they?

Only the Cream Legbars have crests....Prof. Punnett made them using British type Araucanas. The gold & the silver legbars do not have crests & lay white eggs.
I used to breed them.

Those birds have crests, their hackle colour is very pale & the females have salmon breasts. None of these are traits of golden cuckoo marans.

But why would some one sell them???

And if you had this rare breed wouldn't you want alot of $$$ for them, and that would make some that wanted to buy them want to know why they are so much!

People(breeders) don't just go selling rare breeds to people that don't know what they are

I say legbars, the other bird in the picture could be a light sussex. The person didnt say where they are from so the UK is possible.

Ok, obviously some confusion. It;s the rooster on the floor on the hen house, NOT the cream legbars. The chicken I am talking about has only it,s head and neck visible, I hope this clears it up.
