A couple of days ago I noticed one of my guinea chicks was limping and struggling to stand up. The next day another one was the same. Their feet are curled up and they spend most of the day just lying on the ground. Please help me. Thanks.

Have you checked their feet to see if they could have something stuck in their foot? You can also make a soak for their feet with warm water and epson salts. Put them in a tub with the water or make compresses with a rag and hold it on their feet. Also check the ground where they free range to see if there is anything that could injure their feet. You might even put some neosporin without the pain relief on their feet after the soak. Good luck I hope they get better.

Such pretty birds. Thank you for posting the picture. Are they any better now? Could they have gotten into something that was poisonous if there isn't any evidence of a foot injury. If they are just lying on the ground also watch their vent area. If they can't move after going to the bathroom, that area can get sore and will need to be cleaned and washed. I also put Corona ointment on them after washing. I hope they recover soon.

What kind of feed are they getting? Vitamin deficiencies or excess calcium can result in growth problems for young birds. They require a bit more protein as chicks for proper growth as well.
