Does anyone know what kind of chicks? **Updated pics**

Here is an updated pic at 10 days. Now I do think the black one is a barred rock

I don't know what the black one is, it is not growing as fast as the others.

Any ideas?

I'm guessing the black one is a black minorca, and the little grayish one that's feathering in white is a white Jersey giant for sure. Is the all-black one feisty? We had 3 of those last summer, and my funniest chick looked just like yours.

Our pit bull loved to stick his nose in the brooder box and watch the babies. He'd sit there with his tongue hanging out, and every time the little black minorca jumped up and pecked him on the tongue. Once, she grabbed on and hung there while he pulled his head out. He was really surprised, and the baby got a free ride out of the brooder! She was my favorite of all my chicks, but now I can't tell her from her 2 black minorca sisters...

Yup, it really does make a HUGE difference! I went from a Sony point-and-shoot to a Nikon D60 SLR and am AMAZED at the difference!

You've already been told about the Barred Rock (love them), is the feather-footed one perhaps a buff brahma or cochin?

I know just over a week ago they were all fluff, and now they are almost twice the size with feathered wings and still cute as can be... they haven't gotten to that "odd teen faze" with half grown feathers all over!!!

I had three black minorca chicks, and one was all black - even its comb! They all grew up to look identical, though, with big red combs and iridescent black feathers.

Okay, cool. Thanks, does that mean it is a sex linked? Or just lucky to be black?

Just lucky to be black, I guess. Mine are all females. I'm not sure why the color differences...
