Hi everyone. My silver wynadotte has this patch on her back where body feathers meet her tail plumage. First pic is of how I noticed something was wrong...feathers are a little broken and seems like a bald spot. When I pulled feathers back, I found a spot that is in the 2nd pic. Maybe looks like new feathers are coming in??

Are you talking about the white circle with black inside? It looks like a broken feather shaft to me. What happened to her?

I have no idea! I watched all 4 hens for a while to make sure they weren't picking on her and I saw nothing at all for quite a few hours. I was outside and she was next to me and I noticed that there seemed to be an indent where the bald patch is. So when I checked it out this is what I saw...
