does anyone know what we are?

I ordered the assortment package from McMurray hatchery and they arrived last Friday. I was wondering if anyone knew what breed these 2 are. Sorry for the quality of the pics but week old chicks just don't understand "sit pretty for the camera" or even "sit still". The second 2 pictures are of the same chick, just different views.


This lil guy/gal seems to have a "top knot" on its head. There is a ring around it that sorta seperates it from the rest of the head.

Not sure if you can tell in the picture but this one has spots all over him/her.

looks like a White Crested Black Polish and a Golden Campine.

The first looks like a white crested black polish.

Not sure about the second one, but does it have feathered feet?

Right now neither has any feathers or down near the feet. All feathering/down ends at the knee. Each have only 4 toes, 3 in the front and 1 toward the back thats much smaller and a little higher up.

Looks like a cute little White Crested Black Polish and the other looks a little more like a Fayoumi to me, but time will tell. Campines and Fayoumi look similar as chicks.

The first one looks like my little houdan, let me see if I can fins a picture. Is he big or small? My houdan was quite chubby, his name was Pudge.

I guess these will have to wait for a couple more weeks for a definitave identification. Both chicks are pretty small and look so much like several breeds that its just so hard to tell. I will take a couple more pictures over the next couple weeks. Their wing feathers are coming in so it may be easier then.

In the week that we have had them, they have doubled in size and all the birds are growing by leaps and bounds. I will take pictures of representatives of all the groups and maybe I can get an idea of just what I have.
