does anyone know where i can get a dyed chick

There was a long thread about how to do this on the forum not so long ago. I'll bet if you did a search it would come up.

It did not sound too difficult.

Some people do it to help identify different chicks.

im just so scared to do it cause i know youve gotta dye the eggs and id never be able to live with myself if i slipped and killed a baby before it ever even got a chance =/

I know that Ideal colors their Easter chicks post-hatch. I don't see why food coloring wouldn't work. Do a search for dying your own chicks and see what pops up. There were several threads on this topic earlier this year.

By the way, I know that there has been much debate on coloring chicks, but I think that they general consensus is that coloring them after they hatch is more humane, and much easier.
