Does anyone "make" their own feed - ie whole grains?

I really want to raise my chucks on organic whole grains that I mix together and I have some really great recipes for the mixes but I'm at a loss as to where I can get the bulk grain without breaking the bank and was wondering if any of you out there might have a source you'd like to share. I'm in Northern Oregon btw if you're local!

I buy my split peas, unsalted peanuts, and flax seeds at Winco in the bulk bins. They will sell you the whole bag and even order some for you.

My other feed components I buy from Wilco.

There is a place in downtown Portland that has good prices...I wish I could remember the name. I ruled it out as too far away to drive and deleted the info. Oh- just remembered- concentratesNW. They have a website with a price list.

I buy organic whole grains from Azure Standard. They have a website, and I think they are based somewhere in Oregon, but they have delivery points all over the country. I get their chicken wheat, whole peas (in the people food section), whole oats animal feed, and they also have barley and soybeans. I'm using whole corn from the feed store that is not organic because it's too expensive to buy all organic grains right now, and I also mix in some alfalfa pellets (mine are not organic but Azure carries some that are).

Now I use premixed organic layer feed. It's very nice to not have to order lots of stuff and mix it together by hand.
