Does anyone NOT celebrate christmas?

I celebrate it for non-religious reasons.
You can have fun celebrating it, without being about religion.
Plus, presents!
Same here.

We do presents.

Aart, so you celebrate the Solstice? I have always liked the Scandinavian tradition of The Feast of Sun Return.
I guess I observe it more than celebrate it.
It's a very old 'thing'....many different iterations.

It's funny the word NOT in all caps and those that celebrate it just keep popping in. I know there are threads talking about how they celebrate it. SMH push push.:idunno
I popped in just to say I celebrate being with family. We call it Christmas, but for us it's really not - because actually celebrating Christmas seems to have some strings attached lol.

I do... and DON'T celebrate Christmas. I enjoy the season, but I celebrate the Solstice and turned it into my own personal holiday that lasts until January 1st. Part of it is tradition. It's part of my secular world, so I party on with the rest of the world, though the commercialism can drive me a bit bonkers at times.

I don't, but since I live in the country the solstice has become a thing. When I lived in the city there were so many public lights I almost didn't notice how short the days are in this season. Now even chickens remind me how important is the sun and I'm happy knowing that days are going to be longer, we're going back to life. Still... I don't celebrate it, I'm just happy about it!
