Does anyone on BYC raise nice Delawares?

I'm looking for a few more Delawares for my flock (have three, and they are my favorite chickens out of 30) including a rooster with an eye to possible future hatches. They seem to be hard to find other than production lines from places like MMM.

Sand Hill Preservation has some but is sold out for 2008. I don't have a 'bator right now so I guess I'd need chicks or started birds.

Sorry if this is a tall order!

seriousbill does, and she is in Ohio. If you are close to SE MI I have a few extra chicks from a Michigan breeder that are good tempered.

I bought and raised some for my nephew from a lady in Kansas on ebay. Search under 'chicken eggs hatching'. She sells them all the time. I really like the Dellies and was kind of sad to give them away.

Oops!

Got in a hurry and didn't see the no bator quote. It is illegal to ship poultry across state lines without a permit for disease reasons. So finding someone may be hard.
