Does anyone on here coddle eggs for breakfast?

The term "coddled" eggs means "swaddled", or wrapped,, that is where the spinach comes in but it's considered "coddled" in the egg because it's in a cup and the cup is holding the egg or swaddling it.

In my family eggs baked in buttered cups are called shirred, cooked without shell in swirling water or in a small cup immersed in water are poached and eggs cooked in the shell in boiling water were coddled provided they were still slightly runny other wise they were hard boiled. Funny isnt it how many versions and terms people have for these things isnt it. My maternal grandma claims Scottish and English ancestry ans she is the on who called baked eggs shirred.
