Does anyone speak "Chicken": What is the meaning of a "trilling " sound?

    Hi All,

My little blind hen makes a TRILLING sound when I am holding her or feeding her a bit extra. I am assuming that's a good thing!
Any pros out there want to add some info on this hen sound. Thanks

I'm not a "pro" but have noticed my birds making the same type of sound when they are content. Chickens talk a LOT (and a lot of it has to do with food, lol). They all have different voices too so you get to learn one voice from another. I've heard that some chickens are quiet but mine are little chatterboxes. [IMG]
