Just saw something on a tv commercial.

Back in the day we use to name our cars. Sometimes the
names made sense, sometimes not.

My wife's car is nameless...unloved.

My Dodge pickup...it's name is Bob.

What's your cars name?

This was my first car, named Lisa. Haven't named a car since.

Imp misses Lisa

God, I can't believe I'm typing this, it's so stupid. But yes, I tend to call my Jeep "Jeepy". Like, "Come on Jeepy, you can get through this snow, I know you can!"

First car my mom owned was Nelly - really nice, sweet little Rambler. Next came The Bomb (Dodge Coronet 440) - again my mom's car and named such because it was a mechanic's dream and an owner's nightmare - always in the shop and costing money! I have named each of my own cars over the years but my most favorite is my current truck Night Angel (thus my NGT ANGL handle). Black Ford F-150 big tires, lifted, midnight black and heaven to drive!!

My husband's little red del sol is "doodlebug"
my pickup doesn't have a name.. yet

my old station wagon alternated between "B*tch" and "Beastie".. depending on if it died on me or not...
it has since gone to dead car heaven.. may it rest in peace

over the years most of my cars had names.. but .. yeah.. i'm kinda weird like that

I've never named the car, but do talk about her as a she. I'm convinced that she talks to other cars at night when we are not looking and is easily made jealous. She's been good to me though and gets fuel injector cleaner on her birthday.

I had a gorgeous Black Firebird a few years ago that I named "Dracula" because it sucked.
Beautiful and fun to drive, but all kinds of mechanical issues.
