They all look to be pullets, but keep an eye on the Splash...

I'm not so sure that's a Silkie at all. It could be a bird of another breed that carries the silkie-feathering gene. I see green feet, a pink comb, and very oddly-colored plumage.

my silkie roo stood up straighter than yours, so i think most are pullets. the splash looked a little like a roo tho... but with silkies i give up trying to figure it out! i thought mine was a girl... then it crowed. now i've got a month old, and a 1 day old 1/2 silkie from my roo

if i got my way i'd have 30 of them running around! they're the best!!!

I think they look like all pullets, iffy on the splash. S/he's doing that rooster head carriage thing, but while lying down, so who knows! I have 4 about the same age, 2 white, 2 blue, from the feed store, so also not show quality.

Of mine, I have 2 that I am sure are pullets, 1 I am sure is a cockeral b/c he's the biggest, tallest, and already has that rooster "stance" kwim? The other 3 and my bantam Polish and Sultan all follow him around already like he's their little leader. He was my favorite, I named him Snowball. lol. He was always the fluffiest, has the biggest beard, and is the best quality of the 4, I'm sure. I am still iffy on the larger blue. I might have 2 pairs, or I might have 3 pullets and a cockeral.

But I'm glad I'll have at least 2 good broodies! That's what I really wanted them for. I'm not keen on hand raising chicks. Chicken mamas do a better job than a human mama that has too many human children underfoot and a full-time job!

Your splash looks suspiciously rooish to me. If the topknot continues to sweep back like that and stay spikey as it grows, then it's a roo.

Well so far the buff is a hen, and I think the blue is a roo, almost positive. The others... I'm still not sure:D
