I use to be an inubation queen, but it seems lately I cant hatch a thing! Not even if my life depended on it. I think it may be my thermomitor is off. Ever since my original one broke things have gone down hill. I am hopeing that they are extremely accurate like the claim to be. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks! JEN

I don't have one of those but I recommend you try a human thermometer since devices made for medical reasons "have" to be correct due to the increased number of regulations on medical devices. Those should have specified errors too unlike most other thermometers.

She is right, Jen, but it seems more and more people are beginning to use the reptile/terrarium type thermometers, especially the ones made by Flukers. They are made to be in an enclosed humid environment. I got a digital one that does temp and humidity and I think it's very accurate. Another plus is that it has an on/off switch you can use when you dont need it so the battery does not run down. This is the hardest thing, finding accurate instruments!

I do have a human one and its incorrect also!

I am going to return it tomorrow. I cant win with these things! I know the human one is incorrect because I took my temp with it and it said I was at 95* LOL. When 20 minutes before that (at the doctors) I was at good ol 98.6.

And I was hotter when I got home from being in the hot car.
