Does blue in ducks (Swedish) work like blue in chickens?

Oh! Thanks so much for the pics. I'm glad I asked because I would have been befuddled by them being solid silvery and not 'splashed' splashes.
Can't wait! I've sent most of my duck eggs to Deb's for her to hatch, but I set some here the 28th and again the 8th --- and need to set more today.
