Does diatomacous earth work to kill interal worm on ducks?

I am looking for a natural way to deworm my ducks. I just don't want to throw away all the eggs for a month. Thank for any info.

I've never had to deworm my ducks or chickens in the almost 6 years I've had birds.

I don't think so, but I am going to have stool sample done to make sure. They are around things that have had worms, like dogs. The ducks are pasture raised.

Good idea to have a fecal float done first... if they don't have any, then no need to worm...

But to answer your question, no, DE does not deworm any live animal... it's only effectiveness is a *possible* preventative for soft bodied parasites and only if it is dry... once wet, like inside a ducks mouth, it is totally ineffective...
