Does every coop have a name?

I was not aware that coops had a name. Does everyone babe their coops? If so please help I haven't even thought of names.

Mine don't although they maybe referred to based on their occupants... for instance the banty barn but otherwise no official names, heck all the birds don't have them either.

Well,mine is "Motel Chix", but before that one popped up we had several to chose from.

No Man's Land - suggested by my daughter because we didn't plan on having any roosters

Area 51 - hubby's idea because of all the changes I kept asking him make to deter predators

We have had ours called the mansion ,a palace,etc..... We wanted it named something with meaning and the Kids wanted it named after Papaw that loved Chicken Wings and We have several chickens that nobody wanted . .....My hubby nickname was Toe . (Toe's Wings,Legs and Eggs Home for wayward Chickens ) making sign today. Everyone have a Great day.

Thanks for the ideas. We are building the coop this weekend. Maybe I should see what it's going to look like and then name it.

Well, our's is just the barn. Since it is mostly used to house rabbits, it is called the Bunny Barn. However, since adding turkey, then chickens, then ducks, it is just known as the barn. Maybe I need a new name for the barn now too. Hm.

Ours is The Great Cluck-A-Layas. My children named it.
