Does everyone out there use diatomaceous earth?

Hi from Ga. I use it in dust baths, add it to food for parasite control, spread it in the run and coop for fly control and when I get a bag of feed with bugs in it I put in DE and close it back up for a couple of days. Kills all the little critters. You can also use it as flea powder on your dogs and cats.

Hi from Ga. TSC sells it for $12 / 20# bag. lasts a long time.

I haven't needed it for my chickens, but it got rid of the cockroaches. Worked great!

i just got my bag today from ACE Hardware. They ordered it from Southern States. i got it also because so many people here raved about it, so i will see how it works in my circumstance. it cost $30 for a 50lb bag, and thats as small as they sell them here. you can try it and see how you like it, and how it works for you. if it doesnt, then you know to try something else. its a learning opportunity
