does incubation temp affect gender in quail?

No intention of trying anything different. As said, there's a huge industry that would sex before incubation if it could.

My two cents on the issue is don’t mess with it. My first ever batch of quail was 11 eggs and there was a power outage on day 14 for a couple hours. All 6 that hatched were hens and I bet that the 5 that didn’t would’ve been all male. Sounds great except it would be extremely hard to replicate and also all 6 hatched with curled toes, two with splay leg, and one with a crossbeak as well. Fixable issues but not worth it at all!
