I think if I would tell hubby to rip down the whole wire again, he would be going mad

I am so proud of him for having accomplished this coop...was his first ever carpentry project...besides a sandbox for our 3 year old

Lucky you, we have 4-5 inches. Have fun with your babies!! Hopefully you've got extra space, once you get a couple chicks you'll want more.
