Hi thankyou for taking out your time and reading this,
So my baby chick aged between 7 weeks, was previously picked on and I had separated him from the flock and kept him with me, he is much better now eating, drinking and moving around.

One thing I found worrying was that whenever he’s trying to drink water he tries to gulp it down and after some time clear saliva type liquid comes out of his mouth. He is always very thirsty . He eats well i guess, and he usually stretches his neck out is always gaping for air whenever he drinks water, shaking his head and wiping his beak on the ground. He sometimes poops with red intestinal lining so at first I thought it was cocci,

Then I ordered some amprolium for him will treat him for preventative measures after the medicine arrives. But asides that can you please helo me with what my chick is suffering from? I had lost a chick way before due to gaping but he never showed any signs just his position of death gave me little clues that it was related to a respiratory disease. Please help me out and give me advice on what to do. Will be grateful.

Please post some photos of the chick now and of his poop.

I'm going to assume his issues are related to the crop injury he suffered in the other thread, not Gapeworm.
Has that healed up? Sounds like he is having difficulty processing food - if always thirsty he's not getting water (keeping it down) or his crop is impacted.
Have you weighed him and tracked to see if he's gaining weight?

Thankyou for responding,
Unfortunately no this is not the same chick, the previous one died :(
I have a clutch of about 2 month old chicks, one of them was also picked so I isolated him, his condition got better and now he can walk around, no external injuries thank god.

I noticed him losing a little bit of weight :( he was the only big healthy chick I had. And his growth stopped, his fuzz falling out I don’t know whats wrong with him but he sure does eat drink and play around. He does gape sometimes when drinking water. Here he is and his poo, also I think he mite have mites that is the reason he is losing his fuzz

I'm sorry the other one died.

This chick is 2 months old?
Where are you located in the world?
What do you feed, including treats?

Do you provide grit for your chicks? (crushed granite)

Mites could be a problem, do you see any bugs on him?

Yes its 2 months old as of today
Im located in India, I feed it millet, oats and as for treats I do give it mashed baby corn and leafy greens or cooked egg yolk. I dont know if he consumes grit but I would usually put its grains outside in my backyard and he would consume little grit here and there outside, but

from the past 2 weeks I’ve kept it with me feeding it and taking care of it. I take him outside when the afternoon sun has come out and he usually soaks up relaxes for a couple of minutes and usually follows me indoors.
Mites could be a huge problem bc he doesn’t take dust baths and is plucking his feathers and scratching himself more often, I’ve noticed white flakes on him and his skin is literally showing. Since he is alone he likes to sit on my foot and I dont mind, today after he got up I noticed white dots and small flake type stuff all over my foot I was scared that it mite be mite eggs or something and quickly washed my foot. Ive ordered some DE for it will be arriving in a couple of days. I couldnt see bugs but white type small insect on him running on his back. I will show the other chick as well since it is with his mom and siblings.

2 month old baby chick don't need millet and they can't have gape worm.also it's very rare in india ..pls post a video of your chick and try giving him mashed foods like Eggs , boiled or fresh corn .

Millet get stuck in their throat millet is recommended by 7 month of age .when they know how to peck .

Also get growel Bplex multi-vitamins from Amazon and start giving
