Hi folks. My wife and I are raising four happy pullets at the moment, but our fearful "runt" Myrtle has some white specs on her face that we're concerned about. Can anyone tell from these photos if this is natural coloring or if something might be attacking her face (click to zoom in)? Thanks!

Lice eggs are laid at the base of the feathers, not on the end. Your picture is of natural coloring of the feather and not of any parasite.

Great, that's kind of what I was thinking, just wanted to make sure. Thanks for your help, guys!
