does only call ducks get lice?

I don't know why, but out of ALL of the ducks I have had (big ones, medium ones and small ones) only cal ducks seem to get infested with lice. I just don't get it.

I currently have 14 Runners in my yard- and only one of them gets lice !!
Stevie-Ray is a blind girls and she spends most of her day sitting near a fence or the shed - she gets the lice from wild birds that fly into my yard. I check all of mine regularly- but most often I check Stevie and give her a spray to kill the lice. Knowing what I do about my own ducks I am wondering if maybe because the calls have such little legs- they are closer to the ground and can more easily get lice brought in by wild birds. ?? I dont know what else to suggest could be the reason.
